Business Marketing Faculty. Business - Marketing and Sales in Jackson, MI

SUMMARY The selected faculty member will be responsible for the instruction of business courses which include marketing management,promotion/advertising management, consumer behavior, internet/digital marketing and/or marketing research analytics. The Faculty member willbe responsible for teaching assigned courses in the classroom, on-line or in an internship/externship setting and evaluating studentprogress. This full-time teaching position includes instruction of 30-32 credit hours per academic year. There is a possibility of teachingnight and weekend courses, on-line or hybrid courses. Effective communication abilities and computer proficiency are a must.The incumbent will be responsible for representing the business discipline in a variety of public forums to include educational, workforce,professional and policy-making arenas. The selected applicant will be familiar with the Accreditation Council for Business Schools andPrograms (ACBSP) accreditation and understand the reaccreditation process and responsibilities as it applies to the business and accountingdisciplines. Primary assignments include assisting in course coordination, development and program review improvement, meetingscheduled office hours, and regular participation in department meetings and in college-wide committees. Work efficiently with other facultyand staff in a rapidly changing team environment. A commitment to professional development and learning is needed as the business disciplinecontinues to expand and grow. This individual requires a passion, demonstrated through background, for effective teaching and advising ofdiverse student populations plus excellent oral and written correspondence abilities and demonstrated commitment to the comprehensive communitycollege mission.
