Design Engineer Jackson, MI 49202Searching for a CAD Design Engineer with prior background in hydraulics.DescriptionThe CAD Design Engineer will create and modify detailed model and drawing of mechanical and electro-mechanical parts, including components for automotive pumps, solenoid valves, layouts/schematics and design documents. Setup and understand the results of CAE evaluations, as static and dynamics FEA for linear and non-linear materials. Will also be required to do evaluations using a specific CFD software designed for pumps.Requirements-Mechanical design and manufacturing processes, GD&T analysis-Hydraulics, Electro-mechanical system, Pneumatic system-Metal, alloy and plastics properties and characteristics, Die cast aluminum and polymer mold design-Proficiency in Pro-Engineer and Unigraphics CAD software , Proficiency in ProMechanica CAE softwareDesired knowledge
